TRIBE stands for "Taking Responsibility in Bettering Education." It was incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation on February 11, 2005 and serves as the Parent-Teacher organization for Battle Ground Middle School.
TRIBE’s purpose is to foster loyalty to and provide financial support for Battle Ground Middle School students. TRIBE does this by coordinating volunteer efforts and raising funds throughout the year to be used for the support of athletic, academic, and arts programs, as well as supporting clubs, teams, and other activities at our school.
ACTIVITIES include:
-PTO Meetings: learn about what's going on in our school & community
-Coordinated Volunteer Activities to support teachers and students
-Tomahowl: BGMS' annual festival and primary fundraising event
-Annual Fundraisers
-School Supply Sale
-Concession Stand Operation
-Teacher Appreciation Activities
-Student Appreciation Events
-Dine In/Out Nights
-Other activities determined by the PTO throughout the year... ideas are ALWAYS welcome!
The 2022-2023 PTO Meetings are tentatively scheduled for 6:00 p.m. in the Media Center and dates will be posted as soon as they are available. Additional meetings may be scheduled as needed throughout the school year. All meetings are open to parents and teachers. We welcome everyone to attend and see what we have going on in the areas of fundraising, student programs, concessions, and athletics.
